Sensor Air gap

I've searched all over and can't find a specification for air gap.

I have the thick crank sensor unit with the short magnetic sensor...from a Taurus maybe? not sure..

anyway, I was thinking maybe a credit card?

1 mm or 0.040" is about perfect. Make sure there is no runout on your trigger wheel.
