Yeah, I'm a forum addict, and I just ordered my V4 TPS module (pre-assembled, no experience with surface mount soldering). Can't wait for it to arrive! I have a dyno day coming up and I'm going to try to convert before then.

1982 VW Rabbit, 10:1 1.8 8v engine, dual DHLA40H carbs :D.

Welcome! While you're waiting you can get your trigger wheel and sensor installed. Remember, your engine will run on the EDIS module alone- you can certainly get a jump-start on your project!

Yep, that's the plan for today. Remove the pulley from my car and mock it all up on a spare engine on a stand. The goal is to tack the trigger wheel in place if I can find some oxygen for my torch to remove the trigger from the escort pulley. It's a holiday up here (canada), so that might be interesting.

Whoops, sorry I put it in the wrong forum I guess, my bad.

This is agonizing, lol. I keep checking back to my autosport store account for updates...every hour on the hour.

Yeah...I have issues  .

It's on it's way!

I have to say HUGE thumbs-up to Brent and Autosport Labs. The communication has been STELLAR! In today's day and age of internet-based business, that's the key element to customer satisfaction IMO...and they've earned my pimping for sure ;). Lets just say I have threads on a few VW forums about this device, and am doing my best to spread the word :D.

Thank you! We would've had the order out sooner but we have been down with the flu (fortunately not the Porcine variety!) Be sure to post your project in out "Powered By" section. And thanks for spreading the word!

Regards,

I have definite plans to post up in the "Powered By MJLJ" forum, no worries there :D. I don't want to clutter it up with all the minor steps involved, just the details and pics/maps of a running car :D. It'll be running on EDIS this weekend, like most folks out there, I can only dedicate a few hours a week to a project anymore, so it's been slow going.
