Do you have any information on how to connect up a relay and what type to use for the rev limiter??
1= Dose it need to be a partiular type of relay
2= Were to conect it to coil+ or coil-
3= Dose it have to be fused

hope you can help me. have already tried my omex rev limiter but it didn't work,it burnt out that small circuit that puts the 2 coils to one to drive the tacho.realy do need to get it working as i don't wish to blow the engine when i am rallying down a forest track.

Cheers

Note, I've never implemented a rev limiter this way- the MJLJ only has a "rev limit enable" output, for an external circuit.

Now, My recommendation would be to find a solid state DC relay to implement this.

Another member sent me a design for a circuit that could be implemented as well. I'll work on getting that up on the website for others to review.
