USB to Serial Adapter

Hi, could someone point me to a USB adapter that is known to work with MJLJ V4? I know there are issues with some of the cheaper ones, but Maplins is £20 - hopefully there is a cheaper one that that available?

There is a bit of serial to usb connectors on this site if you have a quick look around. This is probably your best bet. It can be a bit of a hit and miss sometimes i'm afraid.

I can confirm that this one from Ebay (link below) only cost me £3.63 (with free postage) and works perfectly on my old Toshiba A60 laptop (old celeron with XP home
). I wouldn't have thought they could even post it from Hong Kong for that price, let alone make any money!!
Dunno if you wanna keep a note of it to recommend to others? I used the drivers they link on the Ad and it installed to COM8 - set MJ to that and worked straight away! It's a Prolific chipset if that means anything to you!
