MAP sensor doesn't work... What am I missing.

I just got my setup running on my Chevy small block powered '84 s10 blazer.

The MAP sensor is hooked up but doesn't give a read out.
Its working like a mechanical advance dizzy at the moment.

I can't find any other MAP settings besides the one option in the configurator Options.

My vacuum seems abundant, there is plenty of hissing/whistling when I remove the hose.

Any suggestions????

Did you make the board yourself?? If so did you put the MAP sensor on the correct way round??

Nope. Its a pre-assembled one.

Hello,

Are you able to use the software to connect to the Megajolt and read / write ignition maps, and observe an RPM signal? Do you see any error messages in the bottom of the window like "timeout" or so on?

I will have to check for errors again, but I am pretty sure there are none.
RPM signal is good.
Software works like it should.
Truck runs better than ever, just no MAP.

Sorry if you've done this already- what if you watch the software and suck/blow into the map sensor port? you should be able to see the on-screen gauge move a bit, while the software is connected to the controller.

One more thing. When the Megajolt is powered up and connected to the software, but the engine isn't running- what is the KPa Value indicated in the config software?

Tried sucking and blowing on the tube to no avail already.

The KPa gauge reads 100 (wot) at all times.
