Number of PIP pulses

Can you confirm how many teeth must pass the VRS before the missing tooth passes it in order that the EDIS4 can process and calculate the advance/spark the coil. (I realise that as a bare minimum the missing tooth must go past the VRS and for the crank to rotate round to the calculated firing point)

I'm interested in the minimum requirement of how far and how fast the engine must be cranked before the EDIS will spark.

This is especially relevant if hand cranking the engine.

Hi,

I don't know for sure, but *probably* at least one full revolution with a pass of the missing tooth. It could be different- and probably measurable on a test bench (we haven't done this).
