Hi everyone, im new to this.
I'm working on a 2.0l conversion and thinking of MS and EDIS. Has anyone driven the trigger wheel from the cam gear and used a EDIS8 with 4 seperate coils. Any thoughts if this will work??????????

Interesting idea! Wish I had thought of it before getting as far as I am into mine. Would have made my life much easier. I can't see any reason it would not work except I do not know if the firing order would "pair up" correctly to spark properly on the second revolution of the cam gear. No, now that I think about it, it has to. You would have to halve all your RPM values in your tables though.

Thanks Todd, I hadn't thought of the rpm to the computer. Would you half it or double it.
I'm a diesel mechanic by trade and not much experiense with computer stuff.
