Hi,
Is there any other reason other than a bad coil pack that woudl lead to only three of the four outlets kicking out a spark?
thanks

Hi,
Do you mean only 3 out of the 4 spark plugs making a spark?
With a wasted spark setup the engine will fire *through* pairs of spark plugs, so if one is firing, the other fires as well.
How are you verifying one of the plugs is not firing properly?

Hi Brent.
Thanks for the reply.
I have taken each plug out in turn earthed it and cranked the engine. Number 1 produces no spark.
I have also had the engine running and removed one ht lead at time and listened for the change in engine note. Removing ht lead on one does not alter the engine note

Bad plug or spark plug wire? The coil contacts are in pairs, check for continuity there. It is possible to have a bad coil, but more likely something else as three plugs fire......
