wiring hard rev limiter

Post by john057 »

i got my hard rev limiter today and just want to check about wiring it as i don't want to mess up! i have also checked the diagrams on here.

on my ecu i have the gnd, trig, coil power like below.

this is then on the opposite side so is it the +12v?

so basically i just solder the 4 wires on the rev limiter on to the ecu broad in the right place and its as easy as that?

anyone know what to connect my coil wire to? the rev limit pin or coil pin on ecu? do i have to cut the rev limit trace for the v3 ecu of it that just for the v4? need to have this ready for my first race at the weekend and so far its not looking good.

So you've got the 4 wires between rev limiter board and ECU board as described at http://www.autosportlabs.net/Hard_rev_l ... ev_Limiter

So now you connect the middle pin of the coilpack (12volt feed) to the "Coil Power" connection on the ECU connector (top left) as per the diagram http://www.autosportlabs.net/File:Mjlj_v4_pinout.png
