Hello,
Just purchased with the 25% deal. Have been looking for a stand alone data logger for motorsports projects for a while. Currently I use an mcdaq 1408FS USB logger but am tired of having the computer attached and no RPM signal...
Previous career was OEM level gasoline engine calibration and I miss the data collection and analysis. Sorting data into RPM and MAP/TPS plots will be nice. Went from full ETAS instrumentation to an 8 channel USB DAQ, pretty rough.
I own a 1979 Mazda Rx-7 & various motorcycles. First data collection will be on a 2008 WR250R dual sport to map out the open loop FI response to typical exhaust and intake modifications. I have been looking at high resolution [4-5 kHz sampling with 1408FS USB Daq] exhaust back pressure, WBO2, and MAP/Air box depressions with the USB daq and its pretty neat.
