I have been running megajolt for years now without fault and have recently removed the gearbox for a rebuild. On refitting the engine i have a poor running condition and on further investigation found that on cylinders 1 and 2 there is no wasted spark. I use a timing light with sensor on the plug leads to check for spark feed and on 3 and 4 there is a constant high speed flicker from the timing light as you would expect but from 1 and 2 only maybe half speed or less, ( the meter gives a lower timing advance based on the pulse speed )an odd situation as the coils on 1 and 3 are connected internally and 2 and 4, I figured the leads were bad but a new set later and its still the same. I tested the coil pack and all measurements fall within specification.

That is an odd problem. You may want to check the EDIS module, or the wire connections to the coil pack!
