Hi,

I am looking to purchase RCP2 with a bluetooth module for using a tablet as the dash.

Do you know if the dash / tablet is able to automatically connect to the logger when both the logger and tablet are switched on? and if so how long this would normally take?

We are looking to replace the current dash with solely just the tablet on a race car, but if we need to manually make a connection from the tablet to the logger everytime we start the car it would become impractical.

Hi Scott,

After it's configured it's designed to link up automatically.

Normally this happens within a few seconds, but it's dependent upon the bluetooth hardware of the tablet itself. With a samsung galaxy tab 3 (7" tablet) it links up within a few seconds.
