I am running RCP software on a Win 7, firmware 2.7.8. This morning I was playing around with some of the gauge config parameters and now none of the fields update on the dashboard screen that shows all the fields. Yet on the other screens (with the gauges) I get changing data.

I have tried reinstalling the app but to no avail. Is there a config file I can delete or reset?

Any ideas?

Hi TheArchBish, my guess is the preferences file for the app is corrupted. You can try this:

* Double click on 'My Computer'
* Type '%appdata' (minus the quotes) into the bar at the top: http://i.imgur.com/z8CneOc.png
* Press enter
* You should see a folder labeled 'racecapture', delete that folder.
* You can also check for a RaceCapture[version] folder in C:\Program Files and delete it too

Oh, also if this occurs again let us know if there was a specific step or configuration change you made that causes this. If it happens more than once it might be a bug in the RaceCapture app.
