Hi, finally sussed out the constantly fluctuating vac advance 35 -45kps - made up a crude plenum box and now its steady at 40Kpa..
My question is..
I'm running an edelbrock performer (weber 500) carb, my book gives the idle/lean/rich power spring values in Hg
example blue spring=3Hg
3Hg = 10Kpa this means it takes 10Kpa to compress it.
If the Load gauge showed 10Kpa does that mean my vacuum is pulling 92Kpa to get down to 10, or it is indeed pulling 10?
if so my current reading of 40Kpa means im pulling 62Kpa to get the reading down to 40?
Or am I just incredibly stupid?
