Hey guys,

I pulled the trigger on a Solostorm package which includes the RCP. Just had it installed in a 1992 Miata with a 1.8 swap. I will use this system for autocrossing in the Central Florida Region.

Our RCP is on a '90 silver Miata with a 1.8 swap. what ECU are you using - does the motor have VVT? We're on megasquirt with VVT, haven't been to the dyno yet.

Embarrassed to admit that I bought it with the swap and am not sure on what ecu it has. It is a basic 1.8 swap though I've been reading up on the advantages of the VVT swap.

I'm monitoring RPM, Speed and braking. I've used it on 2 autocross events and feel it has helped me make consistent improvements in my speed and get a better handle on my braking.
