Trigger wheel mounting vor V8

Hello to everyone, i am new to this site registered today.
I am fitting a megajolt set up to a Westfield Seight i am using a Rover 4.0 L V8 i need confirmation that i am fitting the trigger wheel in the right position.
I have machined up a trigger wheel from a Ford Transit 36-1 am mounting it on the back of the pulley buy machining in a register on the back of the centre core of the pulley assembly. No problem with the machining i am a qualified engineer with a full workshop at home.
As i understand it for a V8 the trigger wheel gap(missing tooth) should be 50deg advance of TDC.
If anyone can confirm this before i bolt it in position and ballance it.
Thanks,
Reg
