Hi,

My obd socket always provide the power.
There is a way to shutdown the RCP when is connected to OBD without disconnecting the socket?

Maybe reconstructing the RJ45 socket disconnecting the power wire and power the rcp with a +12v accessory source..

Hi Chicco,

Correct, the RCP is always powered when plugged into OBD-II. You can modify the cable to include a switch, or try the other options you suggest.
