Good news, this afternoon I took the car on a first test drive.
The map I used is the vaux-opel c20xe base map.
I also tryed a base map from DTA systems that you can find when you
download there software.
This should be a basic map for the original c20xe engine, no luck
with it thow since my engine is running on double carbs an other
cams.
I hope to get some time free for tuning but the holydays are over
and monday is work day!!
Regards Ivan.

just out of interest if you are using the map sensor where have you took a feed off the inlet manifold?
i run mine off number 2 and 3 on the inlet manifold with some fine bore pipe to reduce pulsing i get a steady reading of around 50 kpa at idle

Sorry I'm working with a TPS
Sorry I'm working with a TPS sensor and I have 54 (Kpa) alt idle.
Does one devide the range of the sensor equal like
50-70-90-...-220
Or is it better to devide smaler in the beginning and larger at the end like 50-60-70-90-110-...-220.
I also tryed the DTA base map for x20xe but they start with 21 deg advance at idle end don't go higer than 34 deg's.
No good luck with that map.
When I have got it better tuned you will hear about it for sure.
How is the work progressing there?
