Can anyone help with how to set up the gear display?

Is it even possible with the mk2 and if it is

I will be using this in a 17 VW GolfR with a DSG via the OBD port

And a 13 Nissan Juke manual

If you're talking about gear calculation, then we have a customer-contributed script that figures this out based on RPM, speed and gear ratios:
