I'm trying to load the .13 beta firmware into my Mk2 Pro, and when I attempt to do so I get an error message that essentially says "cannot find bootloader" or something to that effect.

Currently I have the .12 firmware working fine.

I downloaded https://autosportlabs-software.s3-us-we ... 2.13.0.zip and unpacked it and attempted to load the ihex file, as instructed after powering up via USB with the button depressed (red light flashing).

Hi,

What OS and app version are you attempting to do this on?

When it fails, could you post a screen shot of the error?

Thank you,

Thank you,
Win7 x64 and I tried with both app version .9 and .12

When I get back to the house I can post the error.

File checksum on mk2_2.13.0.ihex:
be8428564b258ed4ec44a41f7207470a (md5)

Red light blinking, app version 1.9.0 on Win7 x64:

* setup
* firmware
* update
* click checkbox
* select ihex file
* click open

"failed to load firmware: unable to locate bootloader"

I wondered if my USB hub might be part of the problem, so I plugged the RCP directly into the laptop USB port (no hub) and was able to update the firmware using the app version 1.12.0.

Wow, surprised to hear that. Good job figuring it out; we'll have to add it to the list of things to troubleshoot.
