Pit to Car alert delay

Hi There
Ive noticed there seems to be a significant delay between sending a message from podium to when the dashboard receives it, sometimes up to 5 minutes or there abouts.
I was wondering if there is anything I can do to speed this up or if its just how it is.
I have tried using USB, Bluetooth and Wireless for the Dashboard device and the delay seems to be consistent across all configurations.
Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.
