ESP32-CAN-X2 based datalogger

I think it would be great to have an SD or microSD card slot preferably connected directly in SD_MMC / SDIO format on the next spin of the ESP32-CAN-X2 board!
I'm trying to design a datalogger for a series using this board as a basis, and it would be significantly easier to test and develop the system with fewer extra external parts on a carrier board. So far I'm needing to add a microSD slot, an RTC+coin cell, and some Reverse Polarity and e-Fuse protection.
Keen to hear if anyone else has implemented something similar, and their experiences reading 350Hz CANbus readings and writing to memory card.
