It's a radio suppression

It's a radio suppression capacitor - it's not needed for the MJLJ installation and you can remove it/leave it out. Think about putting one in after your successful install if you get interference on the radio (if you have one)

There...not hard to understand at all!

Wiring up the Megajolt Lite in my Zetec

Post by Hamiltonguitars »

Hi there:

I'm making some progress on installing a Zetec engine into a 1959 Austin Bugeye, it has an engine in it now. MAP sensor is connected through a hole in each branches of the manifold with tees and rubber hoses to get some sort of balance.

As I have started to solder and wire it was the first time I noticed the 25uf capacitor going from 12v power to ground. What does this do?

Remember when explaining it to me, I'm a poor dumb mechanical engineer that still doesn't understand why electricity doesn't pour out of the wall when you unplug an appliance.

Thanks in advance.
