Ok. That was my only bet. As you can see, both me and Alexander had ours made bespoke.

Can anyone tell me where I can get a throttle position sensor like the one used in this system? Hi! I have since sold. By the time I sold I had just finished preparing a 36-1 trigger wheel for the crank. Whether the new owner fitted this, I don't know. If I know him he has mounted a standard dizzy....

Does no one really know ? EDIS units are working, all cabling is ok, power and ground is ok. EDIS is fed a known good simulated VR-signal (I've used it to test the system previously). Then why doesn't the MJLJ configurator show rpm ? Only reason I can think of is if the coil somehow affects the beha...

Ok, so the question should be "....cause no PIP?" But as I described, it doesn't even limp. And I've never really suspected the MJLJ. I've ruled out cabling. Remaining EDIS or coil. Since I've had confirmation that the EDIS is working I can't understand why MJLJ isn't seeing rpm when I fee...

Can faulty coil cause no SAW-signal ?

Still trouble-shooting my installation. Car suddenly stopped running when I was out for a spin. I have no rpm on the configurator, even though the EDIS is fed a simulated VR-signal. I have switched polarity on the signal as well just to be safe. Trigger-wheels Ltd has confirmed both my EDIS units ar...

Voltage from VR sensor ?

My system suddenly lost spark on a test spin. I had to push the car back to the garage, where it has been since. Now, I've tried to find out why spark is gone. I've checked 12V source, ground, signal through all cables etc. I've bought a replacement EDIS unit. All without success. Configurator runs,...

So far, this was the only place I could find a link to the V3 downloads page. I could not find it anywhere on the regular pages. Shouldn't the V3 downloads page be more easily found ?

Just a thought.

I've done that with success. You can find my installation along with at least another in the thread for wheel design. Take note though, it seems vibrations in the engine has disrupted the cables from the sensor I used. I've replaced the sensor ones. And the same thing has reoccured. I will now try t...

First of all take all the spark plugs out of the engine, rest them on the engine block, then turn the engine over and look for sparks. If there are sparks then the problem isn't ignition. If there are no sparks then obviously the problem lies here. Then take the connectors off the edis and coil pac...

Patriq, on my install I did a separately relayed and fused power supply for the coil, did you do the same? I know it is overkill(mine) but I did it anyway! Remove one fuse and the car is deader than dead! No, I took the old power lead (positive) for the coil as supply for both EDIS and MJLJ. Both g...

On top of the other suggestions, try reversing the connection to the VR sensor- it is polarized. If it is connected backwards, no spark will be generated. Well, the installation have been running stable for quite a while. The car suddenly stopped, I'm trying to figure out why. I've tried, and there...
