Well considering the build yourself kits were under $90 it is a fair bit more money, when im not getting anything different.

I know its fully built but for 30 mins worth of soldering im paying an extra $70...

Well thats put a spanner in the works as it means it is no longer cheap to convert to magajolt. I will have to re-think things.

If there is by anychance and old build yourself kits left over please let me know.

Well i was just about to order another build it yourself megajolt unit, but it seems to have vanished?

Can anyone help to as to where i can find the build yourself kit?

Hi Bruce,

ill have a play with spacing my vr sensor in and out to see it it has any effect. Iv not tired a different EDIS4, will the gap test tell me if the EDIS 4 is failing?

The power feeds are both ignition live feeds and all the wires are soldered together with no connectors such as spade connectors, etc..

Hi unfortunately, it have experienced the missfire under load, i dont think i have from freely reving though.

I will defonately double check my mount, though, bit when i made it i did think i over engineer it...

Ok well i had some problems with my megajolt unit (it wasnt alive), but thanks to NITROPIXIE thats all fixed now. But im having some problems with some pretty bad missfires, not all the time and there not constant to load and RPM... For example driving along at 60mph around 3200rpm i got a light mis...

I would just like to thanks NITROPIXIE for sorting this out for me, i send my megajolt unit out to him and he managed to find out what was wrong with it, cleaned the solders up added some new wires for the hard rev-limiter, etc...

I really appreciate the help.

Ok well iv just come in from checking to see if the timing changed with megajolt unit, so i first ran the engine an checked the timing with a strobe and it showed 10* throughout the rev range, i then plugged in my megajolt unit (LED lights up) and did the same test with the strobe, but the results w...

With the USB convertor cable plugged in i get a new port appear, but without meagjolt connected to the USB cable, but with the USB cable still connected the post still is there, so that doesnt really prove much. Well iv just been having a go at trying to connect through my main PC using the 9pin plug, and its not even coming up with a COM port...

anyone got any ideas?

Iv done the voltage check on my unit and they all come through at 4.99v and one of them comes through at 10v i think.

Yes iv tried connecting it to my PC through the 9pin plug, but i still got the same results unfortunately.

Any help really would be great as iv now ordered a new distributor so i can atleast get the car running whilst im having this silly problem.
