I have a TR6 PI. The distributor on my early 150HP is purely centrifugal advance with no vacuum advance or retard. I have installed an EDIS 6 unit and coil pack Plus Megajolt unit on my TR6. All appears to be working, but I am intrigued to know why when I connect my strobe light to ignition lead No1 it appears to strobe at half the speed as the other terminal of the same coil i.e. No 6.
