Topic: Can I use a map for a megajolt with a map sensor on a tp one

You can convert it manually you nee to find your highest and lowest vac readings then convert them to the 0% to 100% of the tps signal

For example

Minimal vaccum 200
Max vaccum 600

So 50% tps value would be 400 vaccum

engine to tdc
fit the sensor at the easiest location
put the trigger wheel on with the missing tooth aligned with the sensor
turn the trigger wheel (not the crank) 9 teeth clockwise

most pc's have a serial port on them, best to test them like that first to make sure its not an ecu problem

9/10 times its the usb adaptor but it can be something else like mine

Sound exactly the same problem I'm having

Even if the alternator is new it could still overcharge if it's not earthed right it probably will be fine though

Check your alternator on idle and with some revs

Test it again with your blowers heated window etc on

It shouldn't really go above 14.7ish definitely not 15

I've tested mine and it seems fine but it could be yours

hi guys just to let you know, ive tested my alternator and im getting 14.4volts on idle

give it a good rev and it goes to 14.7 volts no higher

when i put the heaters on heated window blowers etc it drops to 12v

give it a rev and it goes to 13v

so the alternator is working fine
