Which toolchain? MSVC or one of the multiplatform options?

I was able to build for Windows using Eclipse/MinGW32-g++ with only the modifications that I noted above. I built against Wx 2.9.x (I think x being 4 but I'm not positive).

I finally got Eclipse sorted and started working on building. I ran into a bunch of issues, probably most of them arising from configuration and/or settings differences. Either there's a problem with my wxWidgets config / pch settings, or the project only works one way and I'm set up the opposite wa...

That's my environment, but Eclipse is being a b**** about finding MinGW (Googling says I'm not the only one to have that problem, and there don't seem to be any good answers about getting it sorted out... but after my first try, I haven't done much beating on it either).

Didn't think this was a difficult question, but maybe it is? If you have to guess and it turns out you miss something, no worries.

I got a failure with a more detailed error message, attached.

Try manually editing the log file to remove the '.' character in the oil pressure channel name. I think that's screwing up the program.

Development environment to hack on RaceAnalyzer?

As best I can tell, it's in Eclipse (which is being very annoying, but that's another story for another day) and needs wxWidgets, y'all's gauge project, and SQLite. Anything else, or am I ready to start hacking once I can bludgeon Eclipse into submission?

Y Axis (Braking / Accelerating) : +G is braking and -G is acceleration Comments ? That seems backward. Acceleration pushes you back in your seat, hence +G. Braking pulls you out of your seat, hence -G. (Though if everybody else has standardized on being stupid, I guess you're better off sticking wi...

That worked. It didn't prompt me for drivers, it said it was searching Windows Update for them (I said stop), then there was a no-driver device under "Other Devices" that I was able to use update drivers to install it. I presume I should be able to reinstall the bootloader driver the next ...

Let's baseline the steps- sorry if this is repetitive. For RaceCapture/Pro make sure you've downloaded the driver here: http://autosportlabs.net/asl_dist/rcp/drivers/RaceCapturePro_drivers_winXPVista7.zip unzip this to a directory. When you plug in RaceCapture/Pro, it should prompt you for a device...

Problem installing the USB-to-serial driver

I'm running Windows 7 / 64. I installed the bootloader driver with no issue and flashed to the current firmware. Now I'm trying to install the USB-to-serial driver. If I right-click the inf file, I get an error message saying, "The inf file you selected does not support this method of installat...
