Tach question
Hi all, i have downloaded the: Simplified tach driver for older tachs on the Diagram the 12v is going in through the R1 680 ohm res then conecting to Q1 the BC 109 trans, the second pin is of the Q1 is for the MJLJ output and the 3rd is earth, from this: http://www.a-car.com/john/info/tup_tun_specif...

I want to use the antilag system on a Gp A rally car, so the T\butterfly can be open, say 25% all the time, any idears

Hi all, is it poss. to set up tis system to use as antilag for turbo rally cars. what i was thinking was opening the thtottle butterfly about 25% then when the engine got up to, say 2500 rmp setting the advance to 0 so it dropped back down again so the engine is being used as a pupm to kep the turbo...

Hi All, i check today and ive
Hi All, i check today and ive got about 4.6v comming from the tach output from the megajolt (is that ok or should it be 5V) so ive not damaged anything in there (i hope) ive made all 3 in the files section bu I still can get the f****** tach working, i put the dizy and coil back on the car, fired it...

Silly question
If a normal coil\system puts out 12 volts to the tach, why does the Megajolt only put out 5 volts ??

Dont know the make, its the standard Tach in a 1989 Peugoet 205 rally, the speedo is a Jagger or Jaggar or somthing like that but there is no name on the tach

Ive checked, there is no volt
Ive checked, there is no voltage comiing out of the wire that was conected to the coil (i made sure of that)the Mjlj is working really well but just cant get the taco working, if there is not 5v comming out the tac output what do i have to replace on the board ??

Hi all, I think ive broke the taco output components on the PCB. I connected the taco output to the taco wire that used to go to the coil, the taco worked for a few seconds then stopped, Then I disconnected it and tried again and it done the same. Today I built & tried the 2 solutions in the fil...

what watt bulb ??
Hi all, What watt bulb can the circuitry handle, im thinking of using a 12v LED & a 21watt 12 volt bulb for the shift light. Would this be ok or would it overload the components \ circuit board

Hi, yes it is a 1300, its the 205 with the factory fitted 40's. I just have to do some fine tuning, when im 100% happy with it i'll post the map, problem we dont have a rolling road over here so its all trail & error testing
