Hi all, is it poss. to set up tis system to use as antilag for turbo rally cars. what i was thinking was opening the thtottle butterfly about 25% then when the engine got up to, say 2500 rmp setting the advance to 0 so it dropped back down again so the engine is being used as a pupm to kep the turbo running readdy for foot on gas peddel, can this be done
Thanks Steve

I don't think that will work
I don't think that will work as an anti-lag scheme. It's probably best to stick with a proven scheme.
What is the best "proven

Alan Allard's book,
Alan Allard's book, "Turbocharging and Supercharging", ISBN 0-85059-744-7 is a good, readable introduction. It's a bit old, so it doesn't cover some of the latest technology, but I'd still recommend it. Anti-lag systems usually involve valves in the induction system so that the compressor cam keep spinning when the throttles are closed. Other suggestions are to inject fuel into the turbine, but that's usually against the rules (unless you are Ferrari)
I want to use the antilag
I want to use the antilag system on a Gp A rally car, so the T\butterfly can be open, say 25% all the time, any idears
