So I finally got to the shop and took some pics of my problem. Attached you can see the fuel level gauge is red, although the settings seem to me to only warn when low. Similar issues with all the other gauges, although different colors not corresponding to the settings. RCP Mk2, firmware 1.13 beta,...

Help configuring alerts in dashboard
Using Raspberry Pi, app 1.12 beta, FW 1.13 beta. I can't seem to get the alerts on my dash working in a sensible way. I want gauges and the bottom channels to go red when they exceed or fall below some value (high temps, low oil pressure, etc). I set the ranges using the low and high sliders, but it...

Brent, I have it working with 2.12 now. The problem I had seems to be caused by, under circumstances I have not been able to replicate, WiFi access mode being accidentally turned on during reads/writes/flashes. Even though the WiFi module itself remains turned off, this results in the error conditio...

OK, just tried reflashing the firmware that was already in it (2.12) and rechecking wireless setup and script. Same problem. So I tried flashing previous version firmware (2.11) and it is now working again, both on bench and in the car. Keeping my fingers crossed that the issue does not reoccur :) S...

GoPro or WiFi issue?
I'm working on setting up to control GoPro from my RCP Mk2 using WiFi module. Using a slightly modified version of the standard LUA script designed to trigger on logging start, rather than speed, I successfully got it to trigger video start/stop a few times in a bench test. Then I moved it to the ca...

Yes I'll post it on github when I get a spare hour this weekend ...thokes82 wrote:Very cool. Their program alongside with Video Analysis is quite good and useful. If you would open your source on github, we could contribute a bit. For example with a gui or a sync tool for the video or unit conversion etc...

New Conversion Tool to Circuit Tools (vbo) format
Not sure where to put this on the forums exactly, but here seems like a start. I dusted off my long unused C++ skills and built a little conversion tool to interpolate and convert Race Capture .log files into Circuit Tools .vbo format, including the ability to link video files if desired. This turne...

Can't connect to RC Mk 2
Hi, I can no longer connect to my RC Mk 2 with the RaceCapture app. I tried under both Windows 7 and Mac. No COM ports or additional USB devices show up in Device Manager in Windows. The status LEDs light up as appropriate, it just seems there is no communication. Anything I can try, or does the uni...
