'V' angle on 6 & 8 cylinder engines?

Post by bialbero-racing »

I am looking to fit a MJ to an Alfa V6 12V (sitting in the front of a 1929 ford model A)

On EDIS6 & EDIS8 does the angle between the two banks have any affect? i.e. 60degree or 90 degree. are there different EDIS unit for the different options??

hi. the answer is no, it makes no difference. after all, whatever the angle, the ignition events are still evenly spaced throughout the cycle UNLESS you happen to be looking at an odd-fire V6, of which there are some but not many. the ones i know of are the PRV (ie peugeot, renault, volvo) v8, and some buick 231ci V6.
