should these be soldered?

ok so im having problems setting up my tps, checked every thing over and the problem points to the mj unit. so i removed the board and found that the series of resistors in the tps area are only soldered on one conection. after looking at this... http://www.autosportlabs.net/Image:Mjlj ... d_zoom.jpg ...i realised that my resistors are not soldered in the same way. basicly c11 d5 c13 r3 and c12 are only soldered on the top joint and not accross the bottom. is this my problem? i bought the kit ready built so im not 100% if they should be, but by looking at your picture i would guess they need to be. can anyone confirm this??

You are correct, those components should be soldered as it shows in in the picture.

Where did you source this unit from?

the unit was bought secondhand but unsed, ive now soldered these so we'l see if it lets me calberate the tps tommorrow!
