A friend of mine had purchased a fully built Megajolt 3, MAP version. He had all the EDIS pieces and just couldn't get it to run.
He shipped me all the pieces, so I built a heatshrinked and soldered loom. Plugged it into my VR sensor and coilpack, then two alligator clips for power(fused of course!). It fired up immediately at a nice 12 degree idle. Revs up fine, but did not drive it as it is still cold here and everything is melting. WAY too much dirt, wet, and salt on the roads for my topless, heatless car. Also verified his coilpack, so the only thing in question could be the VR sensor and its position.
It was an earlier version 3, so I upgraded the firmware to 3.2.1. Now all I have to do is install a map switch and power on LED. And wire up the shift light he sent me, and then of course get it back to him
I am ashamed that I have had this since the summer, and it only took a few nights of work to finish it up Sorry, Jake, but at least it's done now
