today, after a first restart of my engine last week end, i decided to got out with the car. At the beginning, all was great. I decided to stop the car in order to adjust my carbies (2 weber 40 mm DCOE). Then i restart the engine and few meters after, i lost power. I check all the grounds. But nothing especially to notice. I succed to restart the engine with the defaut advance from the edis (not easy with my VR). I plugged my lap top to the megajolt. I take note there is no map on this one. ok, i rewrote mine, and calibrate my TPS. I just restarted the engine for a fast test. It seem to be ok. But i can't have enought time to go out for a new test. How can you explain what happened ? I check my fuzz. It is ok. No problem of communication betwen my lapt top and megajolt. Have you any ideas ?
thanks for help. before new test tomorow !
stop working

bad day !
I check all my wirings. I got spark at the plugs, tps can be calibrate, i can wrote ignition map. Sometimes when i cut the power of the car, i lose the connexion with the megajolt and it notice we need to controll power or to wrote a new map.
This afternoon, i decided to separate my wiring for electric fuel pump and the megajolt.
i will charge my battery tonite, before to try tomorow new start.
i can't understand how we can have sparks at the plugs, tps working, there is no modification of the VR, grounds are ok, fuzz ok (i fit a new one for the edis).
I dunno. if you got ideas... glad to read your tipes....

this morning, i worked on my trigger wheel. I fit a screw in order to be sur it can't be move with high rpm.
Right, i restart the engien. Cool.
But on my lap top, rpm and tps gauges work but not the ignition advance.
So i was surprised cause i can do a ride without problem.
Where is the problem now ? on the wiring I suppose !
I try to find another thread who deal about this problem. If you have an answer before to find myself a solution. Thanks to reply.

Hello,
If you can see your RPM and load change with a running engine, you should see a changing ignition advance when you rev the engine.
What ignition map are you currently using? Can you attach your ignition config file here, so we can review it?
You may want to try re-loading the factory default map here, which can be found here:
http://www.autosportlabs.org/viewtopic.php?t=1113
If the ignition advance is stuck at 'zero' you may check the rev limit to make sure it is set to a normal RPM.
Please let us know what you find out.
