RPM stability

Post by luke6040 »

i got megajolt working with sound card but rpm is unstable, would this just be due to interferance, or is this how it is, it flutters about 1-9 rpm constantly.

Luke, It's going to be as stable as the signal it's receiving from the EDIS module, which in turn depends on the signal from the VR sensor.

I haven't seen the output of the soundcard simulator so it's hard to comment. What RPM range are you seeing this at?

the main rpm is 1160 but i have messed with the freq and its the same all the way up, as i type it im guessing that, that is a cluw that its the simulated signal at fault. I just had it in my head that ifs a simulated signal it should be rock solid, but i guess computers arnt that stable.
