Rev counter not working...

Iv got the NIPPON rev counter in my mini, and it doesnt work with the MJ output, and iv just tried it on the edis output and it doesnt work either

any ideas?

Ok cancel that slightly... it works of the EDIS pin 11 output...

But why wouldn't it work of the MJ output? ... Its a V4...

In the V4 the the MJLJ echoes the PIP signal as a 12v square wave. So yes, this should work with the majority of the rev counters out there. Comparing this with the Pin 11 signal may point to why your particular rev counter doesn't like the TACH_OUT signal.
