Limp Home Mode (fixed advance, with megajolt disconnected)

Post by Dhutch »

Am i right in taking, with the edis/coilpack/vrsensor i can get my engine running on 10deg fixed advance 'limp home mode' before adding the Megajolt and messing about with ignition maps and the throtal possition sensor?

Just seems a good half way point to test the loom/edis/coil setup.

Absolutely you can. Its a good way of getting your trigger wheel set up correctly so its at 10 deg advance without megajolt changing the advance.
