Fitting a-series trigger wheels wheel

Post by dannyb »

Got my trigger wheel ready to bolt on, I know the bolt holds it to the crank but is this all that stops it spinning/moving as there does not seem to be anyway of locking the wheel?

where did you get the wheel from??

I would expect some wheels are like this. I designed my own which uses the original mini crankshaft pulley off a 998 without the damper on it.

Don't forget if you can get it within 5 degrees of tdc you can then take the error out with the software.

Drill through the boss and add a roll pin or alternatively drill+tap for a small bolt. Take a look at the bottom picture here http://trigger-wheels.com/store/contents/en-uk/d37.html You can see the hole for the roll pin right next to the bolt.
