Thought I'd start this, since I have almost all the components now. It might be a while before the MegaJolt is actually installed, but I'll post updates as it goes on.

The SC trigger wheel was eventually replaced with a MED machined pulley, solving the clearance problems and I've been running the MJ with a basic map for several months now with no problems.
Got the fueling checked on rollers last week and yesterday went back to ML Motorsport to get the map fine tuned once and for all. AC Dodd beside me with the laptop, I drove up and down a variety of roads, AC modifying the map 'live' to suit my driving style. He made a huge number of changes, and the engine now runs superbly!

Southern Mini days last year was the first (only a week or so after the engine was finished) - but there was no Megajolt at that point.
I've been on several local mini runs around Kent, went to Brooklands Mini day... and there's this year's Southern Mini Days coming up next weekend, when she'll be on the ML Motorsports stand with some other cars.
I forget how many times I've had to explain how it's not a deseamed, bodykitted mini - it's just a kit car that happens to look a bit like one!

After spending some time on installing and going through the usual problems, wiring, trigger wheels etc, we moved onto mapping, we had two test cars Toms and Adams 1380,
Adams car a 1380cc phase 3 cam, stage 3 head, twin hs4 carbs.
We used a state of the art set of rollers, the results where pleasing but we where convinced there was more to be had as of course the rollers has its own operator so he would use tried procedures to map the car after driving the car and comparing the results with Toms we saw the rolling road doesnt really give the drivability that the megajolt is capable of providing.
For Toms we ran on the std rollers to sort the carb needle profile and then taken out on the road for mapping, as Tom says we where able to map the system to suit the driver with excellent results, AC has really got a handle on this kit now so we can now offer an improvement to any car fitted with this setup, particularly our favorite A series!
When we do a 'live' session we do check the engine over first and ensure the fuelling is correct but in some cases the rollers will be needed for this area of tuning depending on spec of the motor, If all is well here we install an appropriate power supply in the car so we can run the laptop and power it for as long as needed while mapping, its generally around an hour on the road to get a good setup with a session normally lasting around 3 hours in total.
Another area I can help with now is the wiring of the rev counter, we can install the new wiring harness from trigger wheels so the original mini rev counter can be used along with most other aftermarket items,
