Still having comms problem with win98, Java Unknown Port err

Ive had my unit working on another computer, but moving to a different pc I cannot get the unit to communicate.

I have instaslled the latest java 1.5x (not the 1.4x version), and put all the java comm files in the right places including javax.comm in the same directory as the config software, and still get a "Unable to communicate" "Unable to open COM1; Unknown port" blah blah blah..

I have been able to use Hyperterminal and get a return character when powered up, and have flashed the latest s19 file using the bootloader program (Excellent, and simple !!)
But cant get the configurator software to work. I'm desperate for a fix, , ,

Can anyone recomend a remedy,

I had the same problem with win98 and winME, copy the COMM.JAR to the C:\j2re1.XXXXX\lib\ext directory.
