How to disassemble the EDIS4 connector?

Post by denis4o »

Hello,

Can you please tell me how can I disassemble the EDIS4 connectors? I want to extend the wires but I don't want to solder two parts together. I just want to put new wires.

Thank you!

The EDIS is the simple one to take apart.

Pull out the black cover from the wire side, followed by the red silicon seal.
then from the connector side, pull out the red "slide" part and each pin has a little plastic tab that releases it.
