VR sensor dimensions

Post by markhuebbe »

I want to make some custom CNC brackets to hold the sensors, but both of the ones I bought online are different sizes. The spacing of the two mounting holes is a little bit different.

FDEE-6C315-A2B

F3DE-6C315-AB

Those are the two model #s of the sensors.

Do anyone know which model is more popular? Does anyone know which cars go with which model?

I want to have some brackets made up and I want to make sure they will fit the most common sized sensor.

The dimension between the two bolt holes is slightly wider for one sensor. And the sensor is a bit fatter.

Wells:
Manufacturer No: F3DE-6C315-AB
Part Number: SU4101

That is the fatter version.

I'm just going to exchange the smaller one from the company I bought it from.

I have absolutely no idea which is more common i'm afraid. The vr sensors on most fords over here are pretty similar to each other from what i have come across and the bolt hole is 90 degs from the one shown is and are alot longer in the shaft.

Sorry i can't be of help
