Up and running Simca 1100 with MJLT v4

Post by dandelph »

After having a number of issues trying to find a dizzy, ended up going the mega jolt route.

The car is a 1973 Simca 1100

With 1442cc engine running twin webbers (engine done approx 150,000 miles!)

Body work is under restoration with a number of panels being replaced with fibre glass ones.

1st test drive since the convertion there seemed to be much more low down torque and the idle is alot smoother. You can definately hear/feel the change :)

I am only running basic map at the moment until I have put the new engine in with its big valve head high lift cam and bike carbs.

Cheers Autosport Labs for a great value for money product :) Will try an sort some pics out
Mega jolt just installed on a Simca 1100 having a few teething problems lol
