Temp gauge reading wrong way round

Post by Craigorypeck »

My temp gauge on the Megajolt seems to be reading backwards? when it's cold its all the way round to the right and when it heats it moves anti-clockwise?
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Cheers

Hi Craigory,

The Aux input channel can be calibrated to accomodate most sensors. The way it does this is through a mapping scheme, where the "raw" value read from the sensor is mapped to a more representative value.

this is documented here:

There are 256 different points that can be used to calibrate the software to represent actual temperature, or whatever else you are measuring. You can also "invert" the scale to match the type of sensor you are using.

The best way is to map this in Excel or other spreadsheet program, and then import the individual data points.
