Hi dave, welcome to the site.

When you say files which ones do you mean?? Are you trying to download the configurator software so you can communicate with your mjlj? or are you trying to download different maps from the ignition library?

Did you try downloading from this page?? http://www.autosportlabs.net/MJLJ_V4_Downloads

Try the 4.0.0 configuration software, you don't need anything else to change the mjlj settings. I have just tried this on my PC and it downloaded successfully. If you still have problems it could be your computer settings won't allow it.

You don't need any of the other stuff except the configurator software. The other stuff is for changing the code on the processor chip inside the mjlj, which you do not need to do right now.

Concentrate just on the configurator software for the time being. When you click on the link on the downloads page you should get a box which says Run Save or Exit. Click on run and it should work. Are you not getting this??

Hi dave

Yes there are serial to usb connectors but they can be a bit touch and go as to whether they will work or not. What you need is a prolific one. What make of computer do you have and do other users on here have experience with a reliable seirial connector.

There have been quite a few posts about this. Have a look through this site too see if there is any information that can help you.
