Timeout reading cylinder count error????????

I have just built a v4 kit and get an error when trying to connect
Timeout reading cylinder count

I am connecting via serial cable - I have checked the voltage points and these are ok.

Power light is on

I have checked the solder joints and these appear ok.
I have checked the coms ports, appear fine

Is this error with the firmware and the config versions???????????

Any help would be apprecieated

hi brent - i figured what was up - i put both chips in the wrong way round - must have been a lapse in concentration

Would this have done any other damage??

It now comunicates and the maf seems to work
