hi everybody, I'm kub, and I mounted a mjl on my mini.
I really do not speak English well, so if someone speaks French, help me .....

cool,

I have all apparently well connected but my computer does not recognize anything .... I have a communication problem between my PC and my megajolt!
I used a USB / Serial and I think the problem comes from there!
What do you think?

This is a common problem and some serial adapters just don't work. Where did you get yours and is it a 'prolific' one?? Did a software disc come with the adapter???

You also need to workout what com port you are using by looking at the "device manager" on your computer and then making sure the megajolt software is setup for the same com port in the 'configurator options'.

To find your device manager left click 'Start', right click 'My Computer, left click 'properties, left click 'hardware', then click on 'device manager'

Do you have a computer with a native serial port (built-in) ? This is the best way to test connectivity.

Does the MJLJ control ignition advance when connected to the EDIS module, when engine is running?

I already connected my mjl an old pc and it works .... it does not work when I plug it into the pc protable drive in order to amend my curve !!!!!
I throw the cd that was with the adapter and now I galley!
I put a small photo for fun .......... A +
