Commit to flash always inactive
Hello. For some weird reason, I can no longer "commit to flash". The button is greyed out and inactive. Everything else is fine, good coms between the PC and Megajolt module, can read and write maps but just can't commit anything to flash. Can anybody help? I am using V3.3.2 configurator and the megajolt is loaded with the V3.3.0 firmware.

Can you actually confirm that it is not commiting to flash by loading a different map to the one already on there and going through the motions of commiting to flash? Then do a power cycle and see if it is still loaded.
Have you flashed other maps before??
I think you actually have to hover the mouse courser of the flash button once you have pressed the write icon and you will then see the flash icon.

Hello Ryan,
Thanks for the response. I found out that the problem comes from my Bluetooth/RS232 adaptor. It connects with the MJ all right, retreives the configuration but somehow can not write a new one so that's why the commit to flash button is disabled.
I get "timeout writting ignition configuration" and "timeout reading runtime data" message when I try to write a new config.
The weird thing is that I am sure it worked fine a few months ago...
Anyway, I'll use the good old cable for the moment and think it through again.
