No running on tickover without throttle
Engine running on EDIS4 with throttle. Then MJLJ switched on and still running and accelerating up full rev range, but will not rev freely or hold tickover. Do you believe this is a map problem, 4-1 on left coil pack and 3-2 on right from front of engine, vr sensor at 90 degrees BTDC and missing tooth at same location as pulley timing mark? Continued from "engine will not start". Engine running fine on dizzy. Going to check on computer.

Hey magic
Get a timig light and compare the idle advance with the dizzy and with the mjlj and see what you get??
Also there have been instances where the mixture is required to be richened up due to a slightly different spark being generated at the plugs. Whilst on the topic of plugs what are you running?? Have you changed the plugs to the resistor type?? You could be getting interferance if you haven't changed to the resistive type.
